Keep track of the NFL’s top five teams with DIRECTV

We’re a little more than halfway through the regular season and it’s shaping up to be an epic year for the NFL. With both new and old faces at the top of the standings, it’s been a long time since so much excitement has carried through to the end of November. Two undefeated teams have made it through to Week 11 unscathed, and a bunch of others are nipping right at their tails. Without further ado, here are the top five teams in the NFL, featured every week on DIRECTV’s NFL SUNDAY TICKET.

New Orleans Saints: Wasn’t this supposed to be a rebuilding year? The Saints have cruised to Week 11 without a single speed bump, though as of late they haven’t looked quite as sharp as in the beginning weeks of the season. A huge test will come in Week 13 as they take on the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. Catch the game on high definition on DIRECTV.

Indianapolis Colts: Indy, a perennial powerhouse in the AFC, is the only other team that goes into this week unbeaten. Peyton Manning looks very sharp, and his young receiver corps is beginning to step up its game as well. It’s still early, but a Colts/Saints Super Bowl would pit Peyton versus his Dad’s former team, sure to inspire some drama.

Minnesota Vikings: 40-year-old Brett Favre continues to inspire in more ways than one. Whether you love him or hate him, you have to respect how far he’s brought the Vikings this year (with help from a monster defensive line, and perhaps the best running back in the league in Adrian Peterson).

Cincinnati Bengals: The Cardiac Cats, as the media has began calling Cincinnati Bengals, are much improved, and have risen to a record of 7-2, including a brutal 18-12 win over reigning Super Bowl champions the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. Chad Ochocinco, entertaining as ever, is well on track to deliver over 1,000 yards for his team.

Arizona Cardinals: The defending NFC champs are coming at just the right time, and don’t face a real test until Minnesota in Week 14. If Kurt Warner can hold it together, the Cards have a good chance to advance deep into the playoffs.

What’s the best way to follow these teams as they march towards Miami? DIRECTV, of course. It doesn’t matter where you live; the NFL SUNDAY TICKET has you covered, broadcasting games across the country in DIRECTV HD.
