TurboHD vs DIRECTV HD
DIRECTV HD vs. Dish Network TurboHD
It is no wonder Dish Network is on a massive media blitz right now. It is NFL Sunday Ticket season which is exclusive to DIRECTV. I will compare the most popular programming options and the Premier packages that are available from both companies. The first thing I noticed was that the TurboHD packages are stand alone packages. These are for people who just want a small handful of channels but all of them in HD. I guess this way they can advertise 100% HD programming. The DIRECTV Choice Package and Dish Network
DIRECTV Choice Package
DIRECTV currently offers their Choice Package which includes more then 150 channels of pure digital broadcasting and available local channels for no additional charge. They also include 49 XM satellite radio channels. You can add HD access and get over 41 channels in high definition including your local HD channels (if available). I also had the option of an HD DVR or HD receiver as an upgrade to my order.
